One is never too old—or too young—to enjoy the joy of making valentines. Old fashioned valentines can be made from classic paper doilies and vintage-style labels. Or, snip your lacy paper doilies into paper snowflakes to pretty up windows. And, remember to make a construction paper heart to go along. Just like the ones you made when you were young—just like our young ones, and little ones everywhere, are still making now.
Our daughter scavenged for valentine-making treasures from what we had. And, when I saw it all in the middle of her making, I saw what treasures she had found. Then, what pretty things her and her sister had made and displayed with the materials she had gathered. And, they reminded me of make-your-own, old-fashioned, vintage valentines.
