Healthy Skin | the best natural beauty products
With more than a few children to care for, my beauty care routine is simple by necessity; and, the natural skin care ingredients I use are simple and natural because of my desire to keep my skin glowing, healthy, and young with natural skin care products. You will love my favorite natural beauty products because they are inexpensive too. Many of the natural and organic products I use contain the same ingredients as expensive department store brands—without the fillers, preservatives, artificial colors and chemical fragrances. I choose these natural skin products because I get more, pure-skin-goodness for less. I eat pure and healthy, so I want what I put on my skin to be pure and healthy too.

1• for your face Vitamin E Oil
(Amazon Affiliate link) This rich, thick oil is more expensive than some pharmacy brands because it is more highly concentrated than the lighter Vitamin E oil that is typically diluted with sunflower oil. Now Foods Vitamin E-Oil is undiluted, darker in color, with a slightly nutty aroma that fades shortly after applying. Vitamin E is an antioxidant that regenerates sun damaged and aging skin while it moisturizes. I apply Vitamin E oil at bedtime as a rich, natural face moisturizer.
2• for your hair Rosemary Hair Oil
(Amazon Affiliate link) This natural hair oil with a light natural scent leaves wavy, flyaway, or dry hair smoother and shinier. I apply mine on damp, towel dried hair before combing through. Frizz can be tamed by applying a few drops to palms and smoothing through dry hair too.
3• for your hair, face, and body Argan Oil
This all-in-one pure multi purpose oil is wonderful for daily use or as a perfect do-it-all take-along for trips. Known for adding shine and smoothing hair it is also a lighter moisturizer than Vitamin E oil, so I use it as my day time moisturizer during our skin drying winters.
4• for your face and body The Pure Apothecary Lavender Lotion This handmade lotion was an Etsy discovery. Made to order by a friendly Etsy seller, this lotion comes in a pretty bottle filled with all natural lotion ingredients like organic olive oil and lavender essential oil. I use this creamy, soft lotion on my hands, face and body. I just finished my second bottle and I have given two bottles to family as gifts (a discovery like this is meant to be shared)!
5• for everything Dr. Bronner's Organic Pure Castile Liquid Soap
(Amazon Affiliate link) This all-in-one natural soap cleans faces, hands, and body without any harsh detergents, chemicals or preservatives. It comes in so many natural scents and I am loving trying a different variety each time I reorder.
6• natural mask for your face Aztec Secrets Bentonite Clay
(Amazon Affiliate link) This one-ingredient mask gleaned from the earth was a treasured discovery. Hundreds of reviewers raved about the pore shrinking properties and the glow this mask left them with when I discovered this natural mask. I decided to try this generously sized and inexpensive container. Simply mix with water or apple cider vinegar and apply the mask to your face. I use this with my daughters—riotous laughter ensues at our matching green faces cracking with peels of laughter as it dries. After 10 minutes, we wipe our faces clean. Our skin feels smooth and soft and pores are visibly reduced. I love this inexpensive, natural mask I accidentally discovered when looking for natural skin care products.
